Rolling trail around Caney Lakes through the Kisatchie National Forest. Few small bridge crossings and abundent wildlife. Seen deer, coons, ducks, and watch for skunks.
I-20 to 371 north to Minden. Take 3008/Pine north and watch for sign to recreation area. One mile to area on right. Go to boat launch and cross the damn to the beginning of the trail. Go left for easy go right for difficult.
